By designing this house we realized that we did not merely fill in an empty space. In fact, by allowing emptiness to take stage and transforming it, we are able to present it in such beauty that is alluring and so inviting that it lost all of its unattractiveness and became irresistible. With this house, we built a safe haven where time is allowed to stop, and the dwellers are not guilty for taking pleasure in it. We built not just an edifice, but also a comforting feeling that you have nothing in the world to worry about, or to run after, or whatever that is, it surely has to wait.
