About — Studio Lianggono

Studio Lianggono is a creative consultancy based in Indonesia. Our work focuses on interior design for commercial and private space, as well as art direction for brand’s visual identity.

Studio Lianggono works and aims beyond a mere aesthetic purpose. Our vision is to evoke a person’s sense of space, and to honor the relationship that occurs between the human and his space, which we translate as the soul of the room.

This becomes the focus in building our creative process, and the main product we commit to deliver. Our vision is realised by designing a space that connects to the human’s five senses by carefully crafting each of its design elements such as the space’s odor, natural or articial lighting utilization, diverse texture of used materials, and then integrating them intentionally to create a personal experience unique to its dwellers.

LIANGGONO SUSANTO

Studio Lianggono is led by Lianggono Susanto, art director and interior designer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The marriage between past and present, raw and polished, the string of tradition and a touch of modernity has become his signature aesthetic. In creating the contrast, he is forming a harmony. He believes that space has the capability to represent a unique personal identity and to be fully experienced in such depth and profoundness. This concept incarnates in the way his work is renowned to be intricate, evocative and intimate.
